Hondo, Rio is the name of the long river that runs throughout much of this area in which you can hear in the recording

The name of the album stems from the fact everyday was a case of pack up early morning, hit the road for many hours and chase the light till you could find another place to set up camp before sundown.

The last track is about multiple hearts I saw carved onto a nearby tree, many, many stabbings into the wood and a holy cross amulet jarred into it with traces of red silk.

Pretty heavy visual. I felt the need to chant the spirits away into the river and let them flow downstream.
